Ways To Get Involved

From family nights out to our annual dinner and silent auction (see 20th Anniversary Celebration below!), there are several ways that you can get involved!  We always welcome new and fresh ideas so please come to any one of the meetings to voice yours!  The following are just a few events that we have held…

Family Night Out

Local restaurants host our Family Night Outs and give us back a percentage of the proceeds they make during the times the event is taking place.  This is an easy and fun way to generate revenue for BPSFA!  Parents do not have to cook and BPSFA receives funds…it’s a win-win!

Shopping Events

During the holiday season, retail stores in The Gardens Mall have graciously hosted shopping events for our organization.  Stores like Lilly Pulitzer, Tory Burch, Kendra Scott and J McLaughlin have generously donated portions of their proceeds to us and made our families’ and friends’ holiday season shopping more fun!

Annual Dinner and Silent Auction

Our largest fundraising event of the year is typically held in the month of February and encompasses a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres segment, dinner and a silent auction.  It is a really fun night and a great way to get to know your teachers and fellow parents better!  There are several ways that you can get involved in this event!

Auction

Auction members help secure auction items and create attractive auction baskets/packages for our silent auction.

Advertising

Advertisement members help reach out to the community’s businesses and/or families to help secure an advertisement for our program book.

Sponsorships

Sponsorship members help brainstorm and contact local businesses and/or families to secure sponsorships for our event.  Several levels of sponsorship are available to help make securing one easier.

Swag Bags

Swag Bags are our “thank you” to our attendees for purchasing tickets and attending our event.  Those involved with swag bags will help secure items for the bags and assemble the bags for distribution.

Acknowledgments

We follow up every auction donation and sponsorship with a “thank you” note.  If you have nice penmanship and want to help behind-the-scenes, this is a great opportunity to get involved!

Set-Up

On the day of the event, we need individuals to help set up the auction tables and get the room ready for the event.
